This dish is not usually found in your local takeout, this is true authentic chinese food - You will need to find a true asian market to purchase the rice cakes, but it’s real authentic and Delish!!!...
1 package rice cakes
4 bunches of babybok choy (chopped)
1lb ground pork (or can cut pork chops into strips)
pepper to taste
Goya Adobo to taste
onion powder to taste
garlic powder to taste
soy sauce (low sodium) to taste
Directions:
*** Soak the rice cakes in water overnight***
With a wok or big cooking pan, use a bit of oil (of your choice) and brown the ground pork.
When browned, add in the rice cakes and mix well, add all the condiments above to taste (I use no salt since I’m using soy sauce which will make it with just the right amount of salt). Then add in your chopped up bok choy. Stir fry all together and fold in all ingredients till well mixed. Serve immediately while hot!!
