Let me begin where my weight loss journey started a few years ago....After a serious medical scare that landed me in the hospital for 3 days I knew I had to make a change. I began a heart healthy lifestyle with eating healthy and walking daily. Over about 18 mos. I lost a total of 80 lbs. (yay me!!). I kept it off for a while, and then quit smoking. The taste buds activated and the weight started to creep back up slowly. I gained back about 25 lbs and did not want to keep heading in that direction.
