It’s that time of year. The time when everyone makes the resolution to get in the best shape of their life, and are back to eating Taco Bell specials at midnight on the reg by March. But rather than creating unrealistic goals for yourself, let’s set some realistic healthy goals for 2015, and kickstart it off right.
Since Christmas, I have felt like a Pillsbury Grande Cinnamon Roll, and I need to get back into healthy mode. So here is my little healthy kickstart cleanse focusing on veggies, protein, lots of water, and easing back into more intense cardio. I will be doing this starting January 1st to get back to my normal self and get bikini ready again. Here’s how it’s breaking down:
DAY 1
Drink: 2 liters water
Breakfast: 32 oz. Green Juice
Lunch: Green Monster Protein Smoothie
Snack: Edamame
Dinner: Grilled salmon with steamed broccoli
Dessert: 1 cup frozen grapes
Workout: 1 mile walk or run + ab crunches
DAY 2
Drink: 2 liters water
Breakfast: 32 oz. Green Juice
Lunch: Green Monster Protein Smoothie
Snack: 1/4 cup raw almonds
Dinner: Grilled salmon with side kale salad
Dessert: 1 cup strawberries with lime
Workout: 2 mile walk or run + abs + squats
DAY 3
Drink: 2 liters water
Breakfast: 32 oz. Green Juice
Lunch: Green Monster Protein Smoothie
Snack: celery sticks with 1 tablespoon crunchy peanut butter
Dinner: Grilled salmon with baked sweet potatoes
Dessert: 1 cup frozen grapes
Workout: 3 mile walk or run + upper body workout
Repeat again up your miles of walking and your workouts
