Granny Doc's Strawberry Torte
Granny says.....I came up with this because I had 3 biscuits left over from the Bierocks.. and ya'll know the way I cook.. just throwing things together.....
3 Cups Strawberries (sliced)
2/3 Cup Sugar
Combine these and set aside so it makes its own juice.
1 8 oz pkg Cream Cheese
1/2 Cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt
3 Cups Fresh Strawberries (sliced)
3 Frozen Biscuits (thawed or can use canned)
Whipping Cream
On a floured board roll biscuits out to a large circle.
Place on cooking sheet and bake at 375* for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on a wire rack.
Combine cream cheese and yogurt and spread a 1/3 of it on top of one biscuit. Put 1 cup of fresh sliced strawberries on top of cream cheese mixture. Now add the strawberry sugar mixture on top of that.
Repeat steps until you have 3 layers tall.
Top with Whipping Cream and a Strawberry garnish.
