We all need to stay healthy during the holidays! Please hit the share button to share with your loved ones!

The holiday season usually results in extra weight gain for most people. Gaining a few pounds may not seem like a big deal, but that weight gain will add up over the years. Many of us allow ourselves to overindulge in December and then try to fix it by making New Years resolutions.

Here are some tips to help you stay healthy during the holidays:

*Eat a light snack before you go to a party. This will help prevent you from eating too much after you arrive.

*Try not to hang around the buffet table all night. The temptation to overeat after looking at and smelling good food will be too hard to handle.

*Stick to your regular exercise program. You may even want to increase your daily exercise time to help burn off the extra calories.

*Watch your alcohol intake. If you do drink alcoholic beverages, make sure to drink a glass of water between every drink.

*Think about offering healthy foods at your holiday meal. Fruits and vegetables can be festive, delicious, and healthy.

*Keep your dessert portions very small. Allow yourself a bite or two of dessert, and choose something you can only eat at this time of year so that you can really savor it.

*Take it easy with extra sauces, gravies, and salad dressings. These are all full of extra calories.

*If you can’t make it to the gym, find other ways to exercise.

*Go for a walk after eating a holiday meal. Take the family or the dog with you!

*Remember to relax. Stress and lack of sleep contribute to weight gain. Be sure to get enough sleep, and relax and enjoy the holidays!

Halloween Brain Dip

Halloween Brain Dip
Oh I just LOVE this! So creative!

Servings: 10
1 large fresh cauliflower
2 radishes, bulbs with root left on
2 pimento stuffed olives
1 banana pepper, slice
1 slice purple onion
1 cup your favorite vegetable dip

Directions:
1 Wash cauliflower.
2 Cut florets from the top of the cauliflower until you have a cauliflower 'bowl'.
3 Remove greens from bottom. Cut stems from radishes, leave the root which will look like an optic nerve, and remove skin but leave a little to resemble blood shot eyes/veins.
4 Hollow out the cut end of the radish with the tip of a knife so to stuff with olive. Use a toothpick to hold everything together.
5 Line your "bowl" with aluminum foil or a clear cling wrap so dip doesn't escape.
6 Fill cauliflower with dip, garnish with radish 'eyes', pepper nose and onion mouth, and serve with veggies and crackers.

Servings: 4
1 (8 ounce) can pizza sauce, divided
1 (7 1/4 ounce) package macaroni and cheese mix
1 lb 93% lean ground beef, cooked, drained, and divided
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions:
1 Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2 Cook macaroni according to package directions.
3 Remove and set aside 1/4 cup pizza sauce.
4 Combine prepared macaroni, half the ground beef, remaining pizza sauce, garlic powder, egg, and basil.
5 Spoon evenly into a 9 inch pie plate.
6 Sprinkle with cheese.

3 Packet Pot Roast with Vegetable Tian

This was DELICIOUS! I was skeptical on the roast seasonings but it was incredible! The Tian was equally delicious! Both definitely KEEPERS!! Be sure to tag yourself in both photos to save!!!

You will need:
Crockpot
1 packet dry Italian Seasoning Mix
1 packet dry Ranch Dressing Mix
1 packet dry Brown Gravy Mix
Meat Roast
1 cup Water

What to do:
Mix all 3 seasoning mixes with 1 cup of water. Place roast in crock pot and pour seasoning mixture over the roast. Cover and cook on LOW heat 4-6 hours or until the roast is 160°F or hotter.

Jacqueline has done amazing!!

A year ago today I made the biggest change of my life. I started a new journey one that has been filled with ups and downs just at my previous time in life, but this time I made a change I stepped up to the plate and did something amazing for myself. I tried Skinny Fiber. Skinny Fiber changed my eating habits so much that I have lost 106.8lbs and over 112 inches from my neck to my FEET!!!! Literally I now wear a smaller shoe and everyone knows my feet are pretty damn small now LoL!!! I had no idea a year ago that my life would be so different now. I had no idea that I would be taken off my anti-depressants along with my sleeping medication. I had no clue that I wouldn't suffer from my headaches or the chronic pain in my back -- yes it's still there but not nearly as bad as it was!!!! I can run. I haven't been able to partake in such events since I was in grade school -- due to having asthma and well-being overweight the thought of running was about as far as it went!!! Now I can run at least 7.5 miles LoL I get worn out but who doesn't and I am defiantly not the fastest either by any means!!! I can walk for long periods of time even at a fast pace!!! I can work out and when I say work out I mean bust my ass at the gym for at least a good hour and a half or two hours!!!! Say Whatttttt?!?!??!?!?!?!!!!! It is amazing. The smile on my face shows how happy I am with life. And the people around me know it that's for damn sure. I know that I am happy at work for the most part of course in my line of working (Blackjack Dealer) you can't help but get pissed off sometimes that is just life!!! But I don't let it bring me down all day long!!! I vent to co-workers/friends and I carry the hell on!!! I figured if they can't be happy I will gladly do it for them!!!!!! I am so happy that I want to hug everyone even smelly people, rude people, people I don't even care for that much!!! Who knew Skinny Fiber would do this AwEsomE change in my life WHO KNEW!!!! I am not sure why I waited so long to dive into this wonderful experience – the bottles of Skinny Fiber sat at my house for almost a whole month before I just did it and made the change!! INGREDIENTS
• 4 cups (8 slices) cubed white bread
• 1/2 cup raisins
• 2 cups milk
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 eggs, slightly beaten
• 1 tablespoon vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Sauce Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
• 1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions for Pudding:
Heat oven to 350°F. Combine bread and raisins in large bowl. Combine milk and 1/4 cup butter in 1-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat until butter is melted (4 to 7 minutes). Pour milk mixture over bread; let stand 10 minutes.
Stir in all remaining pudding ingredients. Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until set in center.
Directions for Sauce:
Combine all sauce ingredients except vanilla in 1-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture thickens and comes to a full boil (5 to 8 minutes). Stir in vanilla.
To serve, spoon warm pudding into individual dessert dishes; serve with sauce. Store refrigerated

Low Carb Cream Cheese Pancakes

Low Carb Cream Cheese Pancakes

2 egg yolks
2 egg whites
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
I added sugar free blueberry syrup by Davinci
I also softened cream cheese and add sugar free syrup to that and made a topping

In a small bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. In another small bowl, beat the cream cheese and the yolks until well blended. Gently fold in the egg whites a little at a time. There's no need to be very careful when folding in the egg whites. I just sort of stirred them in gently with a rubber spatula.

Heat a little oil and butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Don't let the butter get too dark. Ladle the batter into the hot oil, about one gravy ladle full for each. When well browned on the bottom, very carefully flip and cook the other side. They brown quite fast, so watch closely. Remove to a plate and keep warm. The pancakes are very puffy when first removed, but they flatten as they cool. Add more oil/butter to the pan for each batch, if necessary.

Makes about 8-10 small pancakes
Do not freeze

Creamy Burrito Casserole

Servings: 8-10...

1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey
1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning
6 large flour tortillas
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
2 -3 cups shredded taco cheese or 2 -3 cups cheddar cheese
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
4 ounces sour cream
jarred hot sauce, if desired to spice it up

Directions:

1 Brown ground meat/turkey and onion; drain.
2 Add taco seasoning and stir in refried beans.
3 Mix soup and sour cream in a separate bowl.
4 Spread 1/2 sour cream mixture in the bottom of a casserole dish.
5 Tear up 3 tortillas and spread over sour cream mixture.
6 Put 1/2 the meat bean mixture over that.
7 Add a layer of cheese.
8 You could put some hot sauce on this now.
9 Repeat the layers.
10 Sprinkle cheese over the top and bake, uncovered, at 350°F for 20-30 minutes.

Hello - I'm about 30+ days into my 90 Day challenge and I couldn't be more happy with the results. Within this time, I have dropped one dress size from a 12 to a 10. I don't stalk the scale or anything like that. My indicator of whether or not Skinny Fiber was working was how my clothes fit. Healthy Oatmeal Cookies- No flour or sugar!
Ingredients
3 very ripe mashed bananas
1/3 cup all natural applesauce
2 C old fashioned oats
3 T low fat milk
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup of raisins or less than 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips
Procedure:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, mash bananas. Add the applesauce, milk and vanilla to the bananas. In a medium to large bowl combine oats, cinnamon and baking powder. Add the banana mixture to the oat mixture. Stir until well combined and mixed very well. Add chocolate chips or raisins and mix well.
Drop spoonfuls of oat mixture onto a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper or a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 18- 20 minutes. These cookies taste yummy and have a chewy texture because there is no flour in them.
Makes approx 20 cookies

1 Tbsp ground ginger
3/4 cup soy sauce
2 Tbsp ketchup
1/4 cup apple juice
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 small onion chopped
1/2 cup grated carrots
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1/2 cup Jack Daniel's
Mix all together well.
4 Boneless chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces
6 strips of cherry wood bacon
Add cut chicken to marinade and refrigerate for at least an hour.
Cook bacon and reserve grease. (cooked bacon is the bonus, you can either add to chicken later or just eat it)
Strain chicken and saute in reserved bacon grease. After chicken has cooked add marinade and bring to boil, reduce and simmer for 30 mins.
I bet this would work with marinade would work with pork or beef too.

Bacon Wrapped BBQ Meatballs

OMG EASY - CROWD PLEASER!

Bacon Wrapped BBQ Meatballs
.
Ingredients
2 lbs Ground Beef
10 - 14 Pieces of Thick Cut Bacon
2 Large eggs
1 1/2 Cups Italian Bread Crumbs
1/4 Cup Water
1 - 2 Tsp Garlic Powder (can use 1 to 2 fresh garlic cloves, minced)
1/2 Tsp Onion Powder (can use 1/4 cup finely chopped onions)
1 cup BBQ Sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory and Brown Sugar Sauce)

Directions
.
Step 1
Place ground beef, eggs, water, bread crumbs, garlic, and onion powder into a bowl and thoroughly mix the ingredients together.
Step 2
Roll into approximately 20 - 22 golf sized balls.
Step 3
Cut the bacon in half and wrap each meatball with a half slice of bacon.
Step 4
Place meatballs about an inch apart on a foil covered pan with the bacon seam side down. Bake at 350F degrees for 20 minutes in center rack. *You can also place the meatballs on a cookie rack in the pan. This will keep the meatballs out of the bacon grease.*
Step 5
At 20 minutes, take pan out and drain out bacon fat. Brush on BBQ sauce and place back into the oven for 10 minutes and brush on more BBQ sauce. Drain out pan again if needed. Brush on more BBQ sauce and place back into the oven for 5 minutes. *If you're not big on BBQ sauce, you can skip the third brushing of BBQ and serve BBQ sauce on the side*
Step 6
Drain any remaining bacon fat and serve.

CAULIFLOWER CRUST PIZZA

LOW CARB!!!! My favorite!!!! I made this for a party and it was the first thing to be eaten. It was my first time ever eating cauliflower

Crust:
4 cups Cauliflower (steams till soft and cool)
3 Egg whites (can use whole egg)
1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese
4 oz. Cream Cheese
1/2 teaspoon Fennel
2 teaspoon Oregano
2 teaspoon Parsley

Mix and blend well in a food processor (or by hand but well blended to look like mashed potatoes). Pour onto a greased pizza stone (any pan).

Bake at 400° till golden brown.
Remove from the oven and apply a thin layer of pizza sauce (spaghetti sauce).

Any topping you would like. If using vegetable, cut them up to your desired thickness and sauté or microwave them till tender crisp. Then layer them on top of the sauce, and add mozzarella. Bake again till cheese is melted.
Crust will be soft not firm like flour dough would be. Taste like regular pizza dough.

Ingredients
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup butter, melted
8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 Tablespoons + 3 1/2 cups cold milk, divided
16 ounces Cool Whip topping, divided
1 (23-ounce) container of frozen sliced strawberries, thawed and drained well
1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained well
2 (3.4 ounce) boxes of banana cream pudding instant pudding
Chocolate syrup
Maraschino cherries (optional, but encouraged!)
Nuts (optional)

Directions
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish; set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Stir the mixture until it’s evenly moist. Then, dump the crumbs into your baking dish and press them into an even layer. Then, place the baking dish into your refrigerator until you’ve prepared your next layer.
In another medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, 2 T of milk, and vanilla with a hand mixer on a medium speed. Mix together until fluffy and light. Then, using a rubber spatula, completely mix in 8 ounces of the Cool Whip. Once the mixture is completely combined, remove your baking dish from your refrigerator and evenly spread the cream cheese mixture on top of the graham cracker crust.
Pour your drained strawberries and pineapple on top of the cream cheese mixture and spread it evenly. It doesn’t matter which fruit you put in first.
Mix the two boxes of banana cream instant pudding with 3 1/2 cups of cold milk. Whisk for a few minutes until the pudding starts to thicken. Then, use a rubber spatula to spread the pudding over the fruit layer. Let the dessert sit for about 5 minutes so that the pudding can firm up a bit more.
Spread the remaining 8 ounces of Cool Whip over the top of the dessert as evenly as possible. Drizzle (or pour, your choice) the chocolate syrup on top of the Cool Whip layer. Allow the dessert to chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving or overnight.

Please remember to hit SHARE to keep on your timeline*

Ingredients:
Sm Pumpkin Spice Instant Pudding
¾ c Whole Milk
¾ c Fireball Whiskey
8oz Cool Whip (Extra Creamy preferred but not required)

Directions:
Whisk Whole Milk & Instant Pudding together until as thick as it will get (1-2 minutes). Once it has thickened, add Liquor and whisk until all lumps and clumps are gone. Once the mixture is nice and smooth again, whisk in Cool Whip.
Fill almost ¾ of a 1oz plastic shot cup with the mixture then cover and place in the freezer.

It does take several hours to set. For BEST results, I let them set overnight. May use little ice cream tester spoons when serving them.

Even if you do head out for a 15-minute stroll, sun exposure in northern cities like Boston and Minneapolis from November through February is too paltry to deliver enough of the vitamin, according to the National Institutes of Health.
Fat-free milk is an easy, low-calorie fix for the sun deprived. "You need about 200 IUs (international units) of vitamin D a day, and fortified milk can provide you with that easily," says Cindy Cassell, Ph.D., R.D., owner of Cincinnati-based Nutrition Access. Around 99 percent of the milk in the United States has been spiked with vitamin D, so down one 8-ounce glass a day to shield against coughing coworkers.

2. Eat oily fish and almonds to keep skin soft.
Low temps outside and blasting heat inside lead to dry, flaky skin. While lotion is a great remedy, changing your diet can prevent parching in the first place. The best way to keep your outer layer lubricated is to increase your intake of healthy fats in your winter diet. "Fat is a nutrient that protects all cells, including your skin cells," says Kristine Clark, Ph.D., R.D., director of sports nutrition at Pennsylvania State University. If you consume too little fat, your skin becomes brittle. Add omega-3 fatty acids to your diet by eating fish like salmon a few times a week to keep skin soft.
Score your dose of vitamin E, another powerful skin protector, by snacking on almonds or pumpkin or sunflower seeds. "A lack of vitamin E can influence the quality and texture of your skin," Clark says. Without it, your skin is at greater risk of damage from free radicals. "If there is plenty of vitamin E in the membranes of cells exposed to free radicals, vitamin E will take the brunt of the attack and protect the fatty acid that surrounds all the intricate workings inside each cell," she says.

3. Banish winter blues with a bowl of oatmeal.
When the days get shorter, so does your brain's supply of the feel-good chemical serotonin, says Judith Wurtman, Ph.D., visiting scientist at MIT and author of the forthcoming Serotonin Power Diet (Rodale, January 2007). "That blah feeling we get in the winter is related to a lack of serotonin, which is linked to lack of sunlight," she says.
Since serotonin can be found in food, you might think you can just eat your way to happiness by munching on chow high in the stuff. Unfortunately, it's not that easy; your brain needs to manufacture its own serotonin for you to get that euphoric effect. Eating the right foods in the right amounts will cause that chemical chain reaction in your body. "As winter progresses and your moods get frailer, if you eat carbs in a calorie-controlled way, your brain can restore its serotonin to what it was in the summer," Wurtman says.
She recommends eating a carb-based, 150- to 200 calorie, low-fat snack in the late afternoon (when moods tend to be at their lowest). Make it something with substance — try a satisfying instant oatmeal like Quaker Oats Oatmeal Crunch. A small sweet potato, whole-grain toast, an English muffin with a bit of jam, or a snack-size bag of pretzels are other healthy carbohydrate sources. Large amounts of protein can interfere with serotonin production, so avoid eating protein-heavy foods for a couple of hours before your carb-rich snack.

4. Fight the urge to binge by slurping soup.
That sudden need for chocolate chip cookies that hits you on freezing days isn't just psychological: Cold weather can actually trigger hunger, says Nancy Duncan, author of Nancy Duncan's Sports Nutrition Handbook. Your brain knows that eating raises your body temperature and warms you up, so it sends out signals encouraging you to eat. To keep yourself from autodialing the pizza joint every time you start to shiver, keep your pantry stocked with low-calorie, high-density foods that fill you up faster.
"Water is the biggest influence of calorie density, so when you eat fruits and vegetables and broth-based soups — things packed with water — you'll feel more satisfied," says Barbara Rolls, Ph.D., professor of nutritional sciences at Pennsylvania State University and author of The Volumetrics Eating Plan. Water-rich foods like melon, mushrooms, and oatmeal stay there longer, Rolls says. There's a mental component too: Your brain takes note that a large bowl of soup looks like more food than a small doughnut — even if they contain equal calories.

5. Drink water when you work out — even if you're not thirsty.
You'll win major fitness points for strapping on earmuffs and running in subzero temperatures, but beware: Exercising in the cold can trick your whole system. You still sweat, but the drier air zaps perspiration away before you even notice. "I see this in athletes a lot," says Ann Grandjean, Ed.D., executive director of the Center for Human Nutrition. "They don't realize they're sweating unless they actually see it." That can quickly lead to dehydration.
Take care to replace the fluid you're losing. Weigh yourself before and after a workout, Grandjean says. For every pound you lose, drink 2 cups of fluid. (Any weight loss that happens within a few hours is all water.) Water and sports drinks are your best bets, but "you should drink what you like," she says, even if that's tea-caffeinated beverages hydrate just as well as noncaffeinated ones.

Hawaiian Turkey Sliders with Mango-Pineapple Salsa
“My family has to be creative when it comes to preparing tasty and healthy food. I
have celiac disease, and one of my sisters is allergic to eggs, dairy, nuts, and more!”
says Goldie. My dad doesn’t like red meat, so we use ground turkey instead. Served with a smoothie, this ‘burger and shake’ lunch fits perfectly within the MyPlate guidelines.”

INGREDIENTS
For the mango-pineapple
salsa:
1 ripe mango, peeled and
diced
1 cup diced fresh (or canned in
own juice) pineapple
1 to 2 small jalapeños, finely
diced (optional)
3 tablespoons diced Bermuda
or Vidalia onion
Juice of 1 medium lime
Pinch of sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper
For the Hawaiian turkey sliders:
2 pounds ground turkey
1 clove garlic, peeled and
crushed
3 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive
oil
1 tablespoon gluten-free soy
sauce
1 tablespoon dried cilantro
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground
black pepper
12 romaine or Bibb lettuce
leaves
12 gluten-free rolls or wholegrain
dinner rolls
PREPARATION
Make the mango-pineapple salsa:
1. In medium, non-metallic bowl, stir together the mango, pineapple, jalapeños, onion, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until ready to use. (The salsa is best when made several hours to one day in advance.)
Make the Hawaiian turkey sliders:
1. In a large bowl, combine the turkey, garlic, ketchup, olive oil, soy sauce, cilantro, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Gently mix the ingredients until they are thoroughly combined. Divide the mixture into 12 equal parts and shape each one into a ball that is slightly smaller than a tennis ball. Using the palm of your hand, gently flatten each into a patty.
2. Heat a grill or barbecue to medium-high heat. Grill the turkey sliders until cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. Place one lettuce leaf on the bottom of each roll. Serve the sliders on the rolls, topped with a dollop of mango-pineapple salsa.

1 large can of peaches in heavy syrup (29 oz) Drained reserving 1/4 cup peach syrup from canned peaches
1 Stick of butter, salted or unsalted
1 Cup SELF RISING flour
1 Cup sugar
1 Cup Milk

Preheat oven to 350*
Melt butter and put into a 9x12 pan, or put butter into pan and put into oven while it warms to melt.. Once melted remove pan from oven to add batter.
Mix flour and sugar into a medium bowl, add milk and reserved syrup and whisk together.. do not over mix.
Pour batter into pan with butter, arrange peaches in a single layer on top of batter.
Place in center rack of oven and bake for 1 hour.
Serve with vanilla ice cream, whipped Cream, or a splash or heavy whipping Cream.

Concentrated Laundry Smoothie aka Laundry Soap

 Concentrated Laundry Smoothie aka Laundry Soap

1 bar of bath soap - Any works (Ivory for sensitive skin)
1 c. 20 Mule Team Borax
1 c. Arm & Hammer Washing Soda (NOT BAKING SODA)
4 c. water
2 quart canning jars with lids
Start out by grating your bar of soap with a hand grater or food processor. (Photo 1)
Place deep pot (like for stews) on stove with water in it. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to about 340° or medium and add soap shavings to water.
This is where you MUST stir until soap is completely dissolved. Should take about 10 minutes to fully dissolve well. If you are not sure, just keep going for the full 10 minutes. Do not stir briskly. Just enough to keep the contents mixed. Otherwise you will get a sudsy pot and that will be a disaster!
DO NOT BOIL this water, just allow it it do the work for 10 straight minutes. You should not have more bubbles than shown (Photo 2). Remove from heat.
Add Borax and Washing Soda to water. Stir well and continually for another 5 minutes or until there are no more gritty granules on the bottom of pan. Again, if you are not sure, just mix for the full 5 minutes. It really does need it.
Split the mixture between the two jars equally. You will have space left over in the jar. Add enough water to bring mixture just to the shoulders of the jar. You want to leave about 1" space for air. Seal tightly and turn jars upside down.
Leave them alone for 4 hours. You will see the liquid separate from the solid. Yes, it will be very solid, too. Do not shake, stir or touch for the 4 hours. Just watch as the magic happens.
After 4 hours, remove lid and pour contents into a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. (Photo 3 & 4)
If you have a regular neck jar, not wide mouth, you can actually take the blade off your blender and attach to the jar itself. Then put jar onto blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Put label on jars so it is not accidentally thought to be edible.
Enough for approx. 100 loads of laundry
TO USE:
Top Load Machines:
Place dirty clothes into machine.
Let water start to fill (temp of water doesn't matter)
Put 1 Tablespoon of your laundry smoothie under the running water in machine.
Close lid and let it do the work for you!
Front Load Machines:
Place dirty clothes into machine.
Put 1 Tablespoon of laundry smoothie directly on clothes. Yes, it won't hurt them.
Close door and let it do the work for you!
(NOTE: Do NOT place laundry smoothie into dispensers. It is safe to put directly onto the clothes because it has been broken down already.)
IMPORTANT... PLEASE READ
Do NOT Use Baking Soda or Oxy-clean with this recipe thinking that it will add a boost to your wash. Your jars will likely explode within 7-10 days in storage (It's been done!)
Because the Soaps have been completely dissolved in this recipe, there will be NO residue on your clothing like many other homemade detergent recipes.
If you leave your detergent sitting more than 5 hours without blending it, you will most likely see it get a grainy texture. It should be light, smooth, silky feeling with no "gritty" feeling whatsoever. If it Does have grit, that means that it did Not dissolve properly in the mixing process.
What do I do if it's too grainy or if it doesn't separate? No worries here. If it's too grainy or doesn't separate, it just means that the soaps were not fully dissolved. You can spoon the mixture back into your pot and remelt it until it is smooth. Try not to breathe in the fumes, remember, you are making detergent! Once it feels "smooth" pour it back into the mason jars. Let it set a few hours and then whip.
Gritty Soap- if your soap is mostly smooth with only a little "grit" feeling, it will still work fine, but may not dissolve well in cold water.
If you have moderately gritty soap that DID separate, but you don't feel like it's "good enough" to use in your laundry, then use it as a super stain remover for those stubborn stains.
If your soap is real gritty or didn't separate, you will need to remelt it over medium heat, stirring constantly.

INGREDIENTS->
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
1 cup fresh pumpkin or 1 cup canned pumpkin
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons cinnamon, ground
1/8 teaspoon cloves or 1/8 teaspoon allspice, ground
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups walnut pieces

DIRECTIONS->
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2 Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan or tube pan.
3 In a large mixing bowl, mix the eggs with a large fork until well blended.
4 Mix in the sugar.
5 Add the oil in a steady stream, mixing all the while, until the mixture is thick and smooth.
6 Mix in the pumpkin, vanilla, cinnamon, clove and salt. Add the baking soda and baking powder in pinches, breaking up any lumps with your fingers.
7 Stir in thoroughly.
8 Stir in the whole wheat and all-purpose flours just until blended.
9 Stir in the walnuts.
10 Pour and scrape the batter into the pan and bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
11 Cool in the pan on a rack for 10 minutes.
12 Invert, remove the pan, and cool on the rack for about 15 minutes more. (Makes 10-12 servings)
